This 2-day workshop is aimed and designed for bodywork practitioners, yoga teachers, personal trainers and wellness practitioners who are looking to broaden the scope of their practice and to assist their clients or peers with novel gestures, skills and confidence.
Through this workshop, you will gain the knowledge and practice of over 90 minutes of bodywork gestures and massage techniques. Beyond the practice of skillful hands-on assists, there will also be discussion about the ethics of touch for you to integrate in the field of your expertise, either in a class setting or a private session.
This course is a must for anyone who is curious and willing to explore and expand on the power of touch. Rooted in Metta and biomechanics, this journey into the healing art of mat-based bodywork is a gift to all, and most of all to yourself.

- A brief history of Ayurveda and the origins of this bodywork approach
- The 3 pillars of touch
- 4 C’s of skillful hands on assists
- The Ethics of Touch, rooted in Yoga Philosophy and Patanjali’s 8 limb path
- Self care for the practitioner: Self-clearing and ergonomic bodywork mechanics
Yoga mat; printed manual (the manual will be emailed to you in PDF format); a pen and a blindfold (for exploration). Please wear comfortable clothing.
**This course is not a registered massage therapy course and will not give you massage therapist status. This course is a YACEP approved course with Yoga Alliance that you may register with them (upon completion, with your certificate) to support your current Yoga Alliance status. This class requires 11 contact hours and 3 non-contact hours.
